Name: Bryson A Nobles
PSU Graduate: December,
2004
Major: Crime, Law and Justice
How do you identify yourself
racially/ethnically: Black-American, not so much
African-American because I do feel very far removed from
Africa. Of course my families roots are from there, but
if you want to be technically, so is everyone's - even white
people. |

What's your background? Born and raised in Joliet, IL; about a half hour from Chicago.
Recent Penn State graduate with a Crime, Law and Justice Degree
and a Sociology minor. Also, a former facilitator for the
Race Relations Project
What is the race relation project? In my opinion, this project is more about honesty than about
race. It's about being honest about race. We are not experts
on the topic with some solution to the issue. We are a culturally
diverse group of students and professionals who have the courage
to be honest about where we stand culturally and individually
in relation to everyone else.
What do you think of race relation? "I think race is too serious of a topic to be so serious
about!"
What are your other interests
and activities: I enjoy new places. Sometimes the
actual traveling is a hassle, but I really enjoy visiting
different places. I enjoy reading leadership material and
business theory - I am an entrepreneur at heart. I enjoy team
sports; particularly basketball and football. Oh yea, sitcoms.
70s and 80s sitcoms are awesome!
Inspiring Thought: We're
blind until we see; that in the human plan That nothing is
worth the making; if it doesn?t make the man.
Why build these cities glorious; if man unbuilded goes In
vain we build this world; unless the builder grows
