WHAT DO YOU GET FROM DOING THIS WORK: I've amassed an incredible body of knowledge concerning race relations, and just people in general. There is no way that I could have collected all this information about people and race if it wasn't for doing this work. I also tend to get feelings of personal enlightenment and a sense of accomplishment from participating in groups. Every once in awhile I get headaches from this stuff though.
